-1-Use the magic wand to select just the shirt

-2- inverse selection to select everything except the shirt.

-3- set color saturation to 0 to get everything black and white.

Create a monochrome image first. Duplicate a layer (CTRL+J) then while on duplicate layer go to Image %26gt; Adjustments %26gt; Desaturate (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+U).

Add a layer mask to the monochrome layer, which you'll use to manually restore color to parts of the image. Go to Layer %26gt; Layer Mask %26gt; Reveal All.

Make sure the layer mask is selected in the Layers pallete.

Use a medium sized brush to hide the parts of the monochrome layer to reveal the colors underneath (that is, your shirt).
i think it is possible, but i'm not entirely sure. however, i would try using picnik which is much more easier to use if you just want to edit pictures for fun. you can use it for free on facebook by adding the application.
