if you have photoshop, you can simply open both images, select with lasso tool from one, copy, and paste over the other in new layer, erase edge, move into place, adjust size, hue and saturation, and contrast, save copy as jpg,

ooh, that's a real art. Ok, there are a few tools you can use to help things blend together. First make sure the each pic is on a seperate layer. Now, without knowing what the pics look like and how you want to merge them, I'm just going to tell you a bit about each tool found on the left side.





Clone Tool - copy one part of an image and use it to ';paint'; on another part.





Eraser - use a high feathered eraser, to create a fade look on one side of a pic, lay the pics on top of each other, and they blend fairly well.

you can use the option of the overlay to make one picture translucent over the other one. that's one way.
