How do I upload downloaded fonts into Photoshop Elements 6?

I've downloaded some lovely fonts I would like to use in Photoshop but can't figure out how to upload them.

Cheers for your help.

You need to install the fonts on your system, then all your programs, including Photoshop Elements, will be able to use them. Here are instructions for Vista (thanks for including that information)!

Find the font file you downloaded on your computer. If it's a zipped file (.zip, .rar, .sit) you will need to unzip it before you can do anything else.

UNZIP: double-click on the zip to open it, then either click on ';Extract all files'; or drag and drop the files somewhere outside the zip window.

INSTALL: Select the font files (.ttf or .otf ) from within the Extracted Folder or where you dragged then right-click %26gt; Install

If the download was just a single .ttf or.otf file, skip the extracting steps and go straight to installing.

The font should now show up in the font list of all your programs. If you have any programs running you will need to quit and restart them before they see the newly installed font. Worse case scenario - if the fonts aren't showing up, restart the computer. How do I upload downloaded fonts into Photoshop Elements 6?
I've never used Photoshop, but I've done a little digging around and found this site. Hopefully it should solve your problem...
