I created a website layout in photoshop, how do I insert text into it through html?

I typed in the body and it showed up beneath the layout, then in the head and it ended up above the layout. Do I have to actually make a text box in photoshop in the layout so text will show up? Isn't there an easier way through the notepad and html?I created a website layout in photoshop, how do I insert text into it through html?
